Senior Production Excellence Manager(m/w/x)

Description

You will drive operational success by embedding Lean principles across the company's manufacturing network, coaching teams and suppliers to reduce waste while optimizing production performance.

Requirements

• •University degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Production Technology, or comparable field
• •At least 5 years of professional experience in Production Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, Operational Excellence, or Supplier Development
• •Strong knowledge of common Lean methodologies and continuous improvement approaches
• •Six Sigma Black Belt
• •Hands-on shopfloor experience and workshop facilitation
• •Analytical strength and pragmatic execution skills
• •Solid experience in supplier development, ideally in an international environment
• •Confident appearance, assertiveness, and strong communication skills
• •Excellent English skills
• •Willingness to travel to production sites
• •End-to-end thinking and data-driven decision-making
• •Hands-on mentality and high implementation strength
• •Ability to drive change and embed improvements
• •High personal responsibility and structured working style
• •Excellent communication and influencing skills

Tasks

• •Build and shape the Production Excellence framework
• •Develop supplier programs focused on Lean Manufacturing
• •Facilitate Kaizen events and Gemba walks
• •Conduct detailed value stream analyses
• •Analyze production and quality processes
• •Derive and implement sustainable improvement measures
• •Coach teams and suppliers in Lean methodologies
• •Drive initiatives to reduce costs and waste
• •Define KPIs to identify improvement potential
• •Support production ramp-ups and stabilization
• •Manage operational escalations
• •Collaborate with cross-functional teams for operational excellence
