- Set a clear product strategy and vision
- Translate strategy into measurable outcomes
- Iterate based on customer insights and data
- Champion the traveler perspective
- Drive a coherent discovery experience across surfaces
- Balance near-term impact with long-term systems thinking
- Build a strong learning agenda through experimentation
- Align cross-functional and cross-team stakeholders on priorities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive product strategy
- Set clear, measurable goals
- Take full responsibility for outcomes
- Drive sustained customer impact through a long-term roadmap
- Identify areas for non-incremental impact
- Articulate the product area’s strategy to the company’s mission
- Break down strategy into actionable steps
- Regularly update stakeholders on progress
- Create excitement for the long-term vision
- Build alignment across cross-functional teams
- Drive coherence across discovery entry points
- Balance short-term wins with durable information architecture
- Synthesize customer feedback, research insights, and business metrics
- Identify and prioritize meaningful traveler problems
- Define success measures and iterate based on evidence
- Make strategic decisions on product work sequencing
- Develop and execute an experimentation strategy
- Define a robust hypothesis pipeline
- Set guardrails and a learning agenda
- Ensure high-quality measurement
- Derive actionable insights from experiment outcomes
- Inform roadmap decisions with experiment results
- Align cross-team priorities and trade-offs
- Drive end-to-end delivery from discovery to launch
- Enable effective collaboration across teams
- Build strong relationships with partner teams
- Set clear expectations and align on shared goals
- Drive cross-functional execution against the roadmap
- Represent the traveler perspective at all levels
- Communicate decisions clearly and transparently
- Coach PMs and cross-functional partners
