Requirements

  • University degree (Master/PhD) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or equivalent
  • Extensive theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles and designs
  • Successful experiences in product development and release
  • Proven hands-on experiences in power converter prototype building and verification
  • Proven capability for analysis, design, simulation & verification of power converter technologies
  • High level of self-reliance and autonomous target-oriented work style
  • Occasional travel related to ongoing projects
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Flexibility and composure when facing challenges
  • Good English language skills in written and spoken

Tasks

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and refine system requirements
  • Support technology roadmap development for next-generation Digital Power products
  • Assist in defining power packages and exploring new power module technologies
  • Develop novel Power Conversion architectures and converter typologies
  • Lead parameter design and component layout for converter concepts
  • Oversee prototype build-up and conduct verification and validation in R&D labs
  • Mentor and coach junior staff members
  • Present and defend ideas and solutions to the product line
