In this role, you will engage with various stakeholders to shape system requirements and drive the development of innovative power electronics solutions for automotive applications. Your work will involve designing and validating cutting-edge power conversion technologies while mentoring the next generation of engineers.

Requirements

• •University degree (Master/PhD) in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, automotive technology, or equivalent
• •Extensive theoretical understanding of power electronic converter principles and designs
• •Successful experiences in product development and release
• •Proven hands-on experiences in power converter prototype building and verification
• •Proven capability for analysis, design, simulation & verification of power converter technologies
• •High level of self-reliance and autonomous target-oriented work style
• •Occasional travel related to ongoing projects
• •Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• •Flexibility and composure when facing challenges
• •Good English language skills in written and spoken

Tasks

• •Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and refine system requirements
• •Support technology roadmap development for next-generation Digital Power products
• •Assist in defining power packages and exploring new power module technologies
• •Develop novel Power Conversion architectures and converter typologies
• •Lead parameter design and component layout for converter concepts
• •Oversee prototype build-up and conduct verification and validation in R&D labs
• •Mentor and coach junior staff members
• •Present and defend ideas and solutions to the product line
