Requirements

  • •Experience administering Linux systems
  • •Experience with containerization and Kubernetes

  • •Advanced Linux troubleshooting tools knowledge

  • •Experience with cloud services like AWS and RDS
  • •Excellent grasp of ANSI SQL
  • •Knowledge of Full-Text Indexing methods
  • •Experience with foreign data wrappers of PostgreSQL
  • •Desire to serve as a subject matter expert
  • •Kubernetes-related certifications and training

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Assist customer DBA teams with complex problems
  • •Gather relevant data to investigate issues
  • •Provide detailed analysis of findings via email, instant message, or voice
  • •Conduct screen-sharing sessions for serious production-impacting issues
  • •Author blog posts on interesting topics for the open-source community
  • •Answer questions on the forum
  • •Create articles for the customer-facing knowledge base
