Senior Manager Sanctions & AML(m/w/x)

Description

You will safeguard global operations by managing complex trade sanctions and AML initiatives, from conducting detailed risk assessments to negotiating critical compliance clauses.

Requirements

• •6 years experience in compliance, legal, or audit
• •4 years experience in Western Trade Sanctions and AML
• •Deep knowledge of Trade Sanctions and EU AML
• •Experience with license applications to EU authorities
• •Expertise in Trade Sanctions Due Diligence processes
• •Expertise in digitalization strategies for compliance systems
• •Knowledge of SAP GTS or similar tools (plus)
• •Degree in Supply Chain, International Trade, or Business
• •Law degree or legal qualification (plus)
• •Experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry (advantageous)
• •Ability to lead complex cross-functional projects
• •Strong delegation and supervisory skills
• •Fluency in English and German

Tasks

• •Report to the Legal Sanctions and AML Director
• •Ensure compliance with international trade sanctions and AML regulations
• •Develop and implement the compliance management system
• •Assess the impact of global sanctions on business operations
• •Communicate regulatory findings to relevant internal functions
• •Manage updates for trade sanctions IT screening tools
• •Conduct compliance assessments on products and third parties
• •Apply for export licenses for restricted goods and services
• •Lead audits and implement necessary corrective actions
• •Negotiate trade control clauses in third-party contracts
• •Develop and deliver sanctions and AML training policies
