Senior Manager - Quality Assurance(m/w/x)

Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of AS9100/9120, FAA, CAA, EASA standards
• 12+ years relevant professional experience
• 6+ years leadership experience in related field
• Highly technical and professional English fluency
• Business fluent German proficiency (for Germany)
• Solid experience with common ERP systems (SAP preferred)
• Master’s degree in mechanical, aerospace engineering or related associate degree
• Experience as functional leader managing international team
• Familiarity with international aerospace/logistics regulations and quality standards
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills
• Solid employee leadership competencies and motivating environment creation
• Profound knowledge of dimensional inspection tools/methods

Tasks

• Lead and coach Quality Assurance teams in Europe and APAC.
• Ensure alignment with AS9100/9120 standards.
• Oversee parts inspection and quality engineering functions.
• Drive compliance and excellence in quality functions.
• Develop and execute strategic business plans.
• Develop and execute quality policies and procedures.
• Align plans and procedures with headquarters.
• Ensure consistent international site compliance.
• Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Provide education and training on the Quality System.
• Coach teams on the Quality System.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration efforts.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Drive quality initiatives and operational efficiency.
• Manage and lead general backlog recovery efforts.
• Implement systemic, long-term corrective actions.
• Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.
• Oversee the departmental budget.
• Perform additional assigned responsibilities.
• Lead SAP S4/HANA backlog recovery.
• Manage resources effectively.
• Motivate and develop employees and managers.
