Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• 10+ years working in manufacturing
• Master’s degree is a strong positive
• 5+ years experience leading manufacturing teams
• Ability to operate at strategic and tactical levels
• Go to GEMBA bias
• Strong knowledge and practitioner of Lean
• Experience leading change
• Good communication skills
• Energy, strong ownership, and sense of urgency
• Skilled with Microsoft suite including PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
• Proven applications of multiple CI tools
• 80/20, Value Stream Mapping, 6S, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, Visual Daily Management, Kanban/Replenishment systems, FMEA, Advanced Problem Solving

Tasks

• Oversee all manufacturing operations and facilities
• Lead planning, tactical purchasing, and supply chain management
• Set objectives and develop plans for cross-functional teams
• Execute daily management activities and implement corrective actions
• Build and develop a performance-based operations leadership team
• Foster a learning organization to address performance gaps
• Align the organization with long- and short-term business objectives
• Communicate performance updates to key stakeholders
• Maintain frequent communication with associates through meetings
• Establish a Continuous Improvement vision and conduct regular reviews
• Support teams during kaizen and GEMBA activities
• Recruit, retain, and develop top talent
