Requirements

  • University degree in economics, business administration, or industrial engineering (Master), preferably PhD/MBA
  • More than 5 years professional experience in operational controlling
  • Experience in Corporate Controlling of multinational corporations, external accounting, and IFRS
  • Confident handling of strategic concepts and organizational models
  • Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills
  • Very good analytical and organizational skills
  • Pronounced understanding of figures
  • Proven business acumen in Freudenberg relevant sectors
  • Fluency in English
  • MS Office knowledge
  • SAP knowledge
  • HFM knowledge
  • Experience in state-of-the-art business data analytics software
  • Relevant low/no code knowledge
  • Methodological knowledge in Lean-Admin would be an advantage
  • Proven skills in managing complex topics and projects

Tasks

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for the Group and Business groups
  • Perform regular and special analysis of business KPIs
  • Critically appraise financial numbers and provide recommendations for management decisions
  • Present and interact with the Group CFO
  • Lead project teams and represent the department in complex cross-functional projects
  • Contribute to operative and strategic planning and strategy controlling
  • Critically appraise Business Group numbers
  • Coordinate planning and controlling processes for the Group
  • Perform and review economic evaluations of major investments
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines
  • Act as primary contact for Business Groups
  • Perform operational controlling tasks and projects on demand
  • Contribute to the preparation of annual reports, presentations, and press releases
  • Participate in global partners' meetings
  • Develop and continuously upgrade group-wide controlling methods and KPIs
  • Maintain and develop global controlling and reporting guidelines
  • Set up process documentations and manuals
  • Provide guidance and trainings to Business Groups on demand
  • Co-develop and implement group-wide controlling methods, systems, and standards
