Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, industrial engineering or similar with Logistics and Supply Chain Management focus
- Long-term logistics experience with proven ability to drive supply chain improvements
- Profound expertise in end-to-end supply chain management, particularly distribution
- Proven project management skills with track record of leading complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals
- Sound knowledge in Design-to-Value (DtV) methodologies, including Design to Cost in logistics, Design to Customer Value, value stream mapping and modeling techniques
- Proficient in data analytics (SQL, Snowflake) and multidimensional data models, ecosystems, and Big Data capabilities (RPA, Power BI, Alteryx)
- Proficient tool expertise with BI tools such as Qlik, Tableau, SAC; MS Office (Excel) and lowcode platforms such as Mendix, KNIME, Alteryx
- Expertise in SAP S/4HANA TM/EWM
- Keen understanding of sustainable supply chain practices
- Demonstrated analytical and solution-oriented mindset
- Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders by applying storytelling techniques
- Fluent English skills
- Proficiency in German highly desirable
- Additional language skills highly desirable
Tasks
- Design and implement end-to-end supply chain solutions
- Apply DtV methodologies for efficient and cost-effective logistics
- Analyze and improve current supply chain processes
- Lead complex DtV initiatives for productivity and automation
- Optimize transport network for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability
- Research and integrate digital transformation trends and AI technologies
- Adopt new IT systems to drive business improvements
- Use data analytics to uncover trends and provide insights
- Enhance logistics performance metrics like on-time delivery and inventory levels
- Translate complex analyses into clear, impactful stories
- Ensure stakeholder alignment and buy-in for strategic initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partners
- Align logistics strategies with overall business objectives
