Senior Licence Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Degree in business informatics, computer science, business administration, or comparable qualification
- 5–7 years of professional experience in licence management or IT procurement at a global company
- Very good knowledge of SAP licensing models (ECC, S/4HANA, Digital Access, engine licences, surveying)
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft licensing models (M365, Azure, Windows Server/SQL, Enterprise Agreements)
- Very good knowledge of Oracle licensing models (database, middleware, Java licensing, Oracle LMS methodology)
- Experience in supporting complex audits and contract negotiations
- Practical experience in using SAM tools (especially ServiceNow)
- Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented approach
- Strong negotiation skills and confidence dealing with manufacturers
- Strong communication skills with management and international stakeholders
- Independent, proactive approach and high level of responsibility
- Confident manner in an international environment
- Very good written and spoken German
- Very good written and spoken English
Tasks
- Manage strategic and operational aspects of software licence portfolios
- Develop and implement global licensing strategies for SAP, Microsoft, Oracle, and other vendors
- Analyze and optimize existing software contracts and licensing models
- Prepare, support, and execute complex contract and price negotiations
- Collaborate in the introduction and support of a SAM tool from ServiceNow
- Manage a managed service provider for licences
- Identify cost reduction potential and implement efficiency measures
- Ensure compliance and minimize licensing risks
- Establish and maintain licence inventories and databases
- Conduct licence requirement and usage analyses
- Support external audits for SAP, Microsoft, and Oracle
- Advise internal stakeholders on licensing issues
- Collaborate with IT purchasing, enterprise architecture, security, and finance
- Advise departments on licensing models, deployment scenarios, and cost implications
- Support cloud transformation programs
- Develop and automate licence management processes
- Participate in the design and expansion of global SAM governance
- Introduce and optimize SAM tools
