Requirements

  • •Fully qualified lawyer within jurisdiction
  • •5+ years of experience practicing law with focus on regulatory compliance and/or data protection
  • •Significant experience with key regulatory domains
  • •Proven ability to partner with cross-functional teams
  • •Business-oriented thinking and proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • •Willingness to work in a demanding, fast-changing environment
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • •Provide strategic legal advice on privacy and compliance
  • •Deliver guidance on EU digital strategy and data protection regulations
  • •Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Commercial teams to ensure compliance in AI products
  • •Monitor and interpret new legislation affecting DeepL
  • •Advise on the impact of regulatory changes and support implementation
  • •Contribute to regulatory and data protection strategy
  • •Update internal policies and conduct legal training for teams
