Senior Legal Counsel - Antitrust(m/w/x)
Antitrust counsel for industrial specialist subsidiary, evaluating market dominance and structuring competitor meetings. Fully qualified lawyer with bar admission and antitrust experience required. Option for EU country work, 30 days vacation.
Requirements
- Fully qualified lawyer with bar admission or comparable qualification
- Experience as a fully qualified lawyer in a law firm, corporation, or both
- Several years of practical experience with antitrust matters
- Experience in the Tire industry is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Business fluent German and English language skills
- Demonstrated excellent legal knowledge in antitrust matters
- Deep understanding of the business, products, and markets
- Strong team player with willingness to work in an international environment
- Willingness to travel when required
Tasks
- Review and analyze contracts and agreements
- Negotiate supplier contracts and license agreements
- Evaluate market dominance and related behavior
- Structure meetings with competitors
- Assess association activities
- Support M&A activities and merger control filings
- Assist in cartel litigation and follow-on claims
- Aid in antitrust investigations
- Represent the company in antitrust panels and roundtables
- Develop and implement standards for contracts and antitrust matters
- Communicate with antitrust authorities
- Collaborate with stakeholders on antitrust issues
- Work with the compliance department on antitrust activities
- Select and manage external antitrust counsel
- Participate in legal and business meetings on antitrust projects
- Monitor and report on changes in antitrust law

- Bachelor's degree
