Senior Internal Auditor(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Business Informatics, IT, Engineering, or Business Administration
• Experience as IT auditor or in other IT areas
• Ideally audit-specific certifications like CISA, CISM or CRISC
• Knowledge in IT project management and security
• Knowledge of IT frameworks like COBIT or ITIL
• Business-fluent English and additional languages advantageous
• Enhanced analytical skills and professional judgement
• Self-confident appearance and professional presentation skills
• Advanced team and communication skills
• Willingness for international business trips

Tasks

• Analyze IT-supported business processes for efficiency and compliance
• Assess IT infrastructure and system security via vulnerability analysis
• Prepare fieldwork and conduct interviews to evaluate IT processes
• Perform detailed data analysis within various IT systems
• Monitor compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards
• Compile audit findings and propose strategic recommendations
• Document audit results and update the Audit Management System
• Present findings to management in English
• Consult on improving internal IT processes and systems
• Monitor the implementation of agreed-upon audit recommendations
• Participate in general audits and fraud investigations
• Develop risk-oriented audit programs using Knime and Python
• Create data analytics and automation tools for audit areas
