Requirements
- Degree in Materials Science, Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering or comparable discipline
- Substantial practical experience in polymer-based materials development, application, or technical support
- Expertise in demanding cable applications
- Experience in energy, high-voltage or cable industry
- Understanding of materials, applications, and end-product performance impact
- Technical excellence
- Strong understanding of customers, markets, and commercial drivers
- Ability to listen, ask right questions, and communicate complex technical topics clearly
- Ownership and curiosity

Tasks
- Shape the future of the Cable & Wire segment
- Drive technical development with international teams
- Collaborate with customers and research partners
- Contribute to the energy transition through high-performance solutions
- Define innovation priorities for the Cable & Wire market
- Position the portfolio technically within the market
- Enhance long-term competitiveness and growth
- Own the technical interface with key international customers
- Understand and steer customer development requirements
- Lead technical collaboration from concept to implementation
- Position polymer and carbon black solutions in applications
- Identify new market opportunities and technological developments
- Translate findings into portfolio development recommendations
- Expand existing business and establish new applications
- Support customer acquisition efforts
- Collaborate with Innovation, Sales, Marketing, Manufacturing, and Quality
- Provide technical leadership for development and optimization
- Define the technological direction of the Wire & Cable segment
- Contribute to technology and product strategies
- Monitor market, competitive, and patent developments
- Lead international development and innovation projects
- Secure the continued success of established business
- Develop new applications and unlock additional opportunities
- Serve as the global reference point for Wire & Cable applications
- Shape the technical direction of the segment
- Establish expertise in application-related topics
