Requirements

  • Graduate degree, preferably PhD in health economics, Medicine (MD), public health, pharmacy
  • Several years pharma industry experience in HEOR, PRO consulting or payer authorities
  • Multiple years direct experience in HTA & PRO evaluations for regulatory/health authorities
  • Conducting non-interventional studies and RWE programs
  • Demonstrated experience successful regulatory, reimbursement negotiations for new products
  • Proven track record delivering value demonstration materials for patient access
  • Proven ability appraising clinical evidence (RCTs and operational)
  • Profound knowledge formulating COA strategies, validation, administration, statistical analyses
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Long-term pharma industry experience in health economics, pricing, reimbursement, consulting, or payer authorities
  • Several years exposure to international business
  • Strong track record in value generation, demonstration and/or communication
  • Highly experienced conducting health economics/outcomes research across multiple disciplines

Tasks

  • Develop and execute HEOR & PRO strategies
  • Demonstrate medical and economic payer-relevant needs
  • Generate evidence for market access and HTA assessments
  • Ensure optimal pricing, reimbursement, and formulary listing
  • Inform development of Target Product Profile (TPP)
  • Develop clinical development plan for pipeline compounds
  • Ensure patient-reported outcome (PRO) measurement strategies
  • Capture patient perspective in clinical trial programs
  • Interact with regulatory authorities
  • Collaborate with other functions
  • Develop key HEOR deliverables
  • Create payer value stories
  • Develop payer engagement tools
  • Construct economic models
  • Conduct retrospective database analyses
  • Perform indirect comparisons
  • Gather real-world evidence data
  • Maintain partnerships with payers
  • Collaborate with academic research institutions
  • Work with contract research organizations
  • Engage with HEOR thought leaders
  • Define long-term global development strategies
  • Draft long-term publication strategies
