Requirements

  • 5+ years of Flight Control System design experience
  • Intuitive understanding of flight physics and dynamics
  • Solid understanding and hands-on control theory experience
  • Solid controller implementation experience
  • Strong proficiency in Matlab/Simulink
  • Experience writing C/C++ code
  • Experience analyzing C/C++ code
  • Knowledge of digital signal processing
  • Hands-on digital signal processing experience
  • Knowledge of data analysis
  • Hands-on data analysis experience
  • Ability to work within specialized teams
  • Ability to work across specialized teams
  • Efficient communication skills
  • Coordination skills

Tasks

  • Conceptualize flight control solutions for stability, performance, and safety
  • Shape flight control system architecture and interface design
  • Optimize team workflow for concept reviews, implementation, and testing
  • Coordinate with test pilots, product managers, and developers
  • Analyze log data and flight test results
  • Identify and solve problems in flight operations and testing
