- Strong embedded firmware development experience using C/C++
- Experience in automotive or safety-critical environments
- Solid understanding of embedded systems
- Understanding of low-level firmware
- Understanding of hardware interfaces
- Firmware verification experience

- Familiarity with ROM-based firmware (plus)
- Familiarity with bootloaders (plus)
- Familiarity with early silicon bring-up (plus)
- Knowledge of Python (advantage)
- Experience with version control systems

- Experience with software quality metrics
- Experience with AI-assisted development tools (plus)
- Basic knowledge of digital hardware design (advantage)
- Basic knowledge of HDL (Verilog or VHDL) (advantage)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in CS, CE, or related
