Requirements
- Finance, accounting, Business, Economics, or related degree
- US-GAAP experience and German GAAP strong knowledge
- Relevant professional experience in tax/accounting
- Solid understanding of accounting principles
- Proficiency in Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Google spreadsheets/slides
- Automation and AI experience advantageous
- Excellent English communication skills
- Excellent German communication skills
- Strong analytical and solution-oriented skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Familiarity with Oracle ERP, EPM Oracle knowledge advantageous
- Desire to learn and willingness to solve problems
Tasks
- Lead preparation and filing of annual statutory financial statements
- Participate in monthly and quarterly closing processes
- Maintain SOX compliance and internal control environments
- Prepare and file comprehensive corporate income tax returns
- Manage periodic statistical filings to government agencies
- Serve as primary contact for external auditors and tax authorities
- Participate in special projects like system implementations
- Provide internal guidance on tax implications and legislation changes
