You will lead the evolution of the company's core search services, balancing high-level strategy with technical excellence to scale a high-performing engineering domain and its leadership.

Requirements

• •Proven architectural excellence and leadership experience

• •Experience with Elasticsearch, Lucene, or Solr
• •Track record building Tier-1 distributed systems

• •Skill in partnering with Product stakeholders
• •Ability to communicate complex trade-offs

• •Drive architectural evolution toward modern indexing paradigms
• •Define and improve domain-level SLOs and SLAs
• •Manage on-call practices and incident response cultures
• •Champion and document rigorous engineering practices
• •Translate tribe objectives into technical roadmaps
• •Balance feature development with reliability and modernization
• •Identify opportunities to adopt cutting-edge search technologies
• •Partner with Product to shape search strategy
• •Coordinate cross-team initiatives and ecosystem integrations
