Senior Engineer - Application Engineering(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 3 years related work experience
• Strong communication skills
• Team-orientation
• Ability to work in multicultural environment
• Fundamental knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers
• Fluent English (written and spoken)
• Preferable fluent German
• Ideally experienced in MCU architecture(s), preferably ARM
• Ideally experienced in fundamental knowledge of embedded Microcontrollers
• Ideally experienced in programming embedded Microcontrollers (C/C++ preferred)
• Ideally experienced in product definition and requirement management
• Ideally experienced in handling complex technical RfQs with key customers
• Ideally experienced in customer negotiations
• Valid residence and work permit for Germany or another EU country

Tasks

• Support hardware solutions for Renesas 32-bit automotive microcontrollers
• Contribute to new product definition and planning
• Gather, define, and track customer and market hardware requirements
• Define hardware requirements for future microcontroller products
• Discuss requirements with development teams
• Integrate hardware with related software, requirements, and tools
• Define Renesas solution menus with marketing teams
• Roll out Renesas solution menus with marketing teams
• Provide technical support internally and to customers
• Create supporting materials (collaterals, application notes, trainings)
• Present supporting materials (collaterals, application notes, trainings)
• Coordinate and exchange information with Renesas Headquarter
