Requirements
- Vocational training as an automotive or motorsport mechanic, or equivalent technical qualification
- Minimum 5 years of experience in high-performance engine assembly
- Strong knowledge of internal combustion engines, hybrid systems, and associated electronics
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools and interpreting technical drawings
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Willingness to travel internationally for race and test events
- Comprehensive understanding of internal combustion engine architecture, tolerances, materials, and assembly techniques
- Experience with high-precision measuring tools
- Strong knowledge of component life management, wear analysis, and reliability tracking
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, build specifications, and assembly sheets
- High commitment to quality, precision, and process consistency
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, focused team
- Fluency in English; other languages are a plus
Tasks
- Assemble complete race engines according to build specifications
- Measure and verify critical engine components using precision instruments
- Maintain accurate build records and traceability documentation
- Disassemble and inspect engines for wear and damage post-event
- Collaborate with design and dyno teams for performance improvements
- Identify and report assembly or quality issues
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the build area
- Support dyno and test operations with pre-start checks
- Travel to test or race events to provide engine support as needed
