Tasks
- Lead end-to-end network engineering function
- Oversee architecture, design, and delivery of networking capabilities
- Ensure seamless integration between User Terminals, Satellite Payloads, SDN, AMF, OSS, Terrestrial Networks, and Network Simulation environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, security, Program Management, and Operations
- Enable MEF-compliant services with MEF SLAs and LSO APIs
- Develop and lead a high-performing Network Engineering organization
- Foster innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
- Drive network technology strategy and contribute to industry standards
- Structure and scale the team to support program requirements
- Manage system design, vendor management, integration, and testing
- Ensure operational readiness through procedures, documentation, and training plans
- Provide Level 3 engineering support
- Participate in incident analysis
- Drive continuous improvement
- Support Product & Services and Sales teams in designing new offerings
- Manage Network Engineering budget
- Identify cost optimization opportunities
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards
- Build Network Work Orders
- Validate test results
- Contribute to the Operations Change Board
- Support full lifecycle of service delivery from concept to operational handover
