Description

In this role, you will lead international teams to uphold food safety and quality standards while developing strategies that align with company goals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include mentoring a dedicated team, optimizing processes, and ensuring compliance with regulations across multiple locations.

Requirements

• •Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related technical field
• •Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in food safety and quality roles within food manufacturing
• •At least 5 years of senior management experience leading large, diverse teams across geographies
• •Deep knowledge of relevant food safety regulations
• •Proven track record of building and leading high-performance teams
• •Strong understanding of food microbiology, chemistry, and processing technologies, with knowledge of laboratory operations and analytical testing methods
• •Strong project management and change management capabilities
• •Ability to influence and collaborate across functions and with external partners
• •Strategic thinking with strong business acumen
• •Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

Tasks

• •Lead cross-functional international teams to integrate quality and safety standards
• •Develop and implement food safety and quality strategies aligned with company objectives
• •Onboard new suppliers and ingredients
• •Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, including inspections and audits
• •Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing food safety and quality team
• •Champion new technologies and digital solutions for quality management
• •Contribute to global platform harmonization across the supply chain
• •Lead process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency while maintaining safety
• •Leverage data to develop and implement sustainable corrective and preventative actions
• •Stay updated on legislation and industry practices, incorporating them into systems
• •Lobby regulators for positive changes in food safety and quality
