Securing new accounts for outsourced Phase I-III clinical trials in the life sciences industry. Proven business development experience in biotech/Pharma with Phase I-III outsourcing knowledge required. Global scope, new business focus.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in life sciences or related field
- Proven experience in Business Development, account management, sales, or client services within biotech, Pharma, or clinical research industry
- Solid understanding of Phase I – IV drug development process or direct experience of full service Phase I – III outsourcing
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
Tasks
- Identify new accounts for Phase I – III outsourced opportunities
- Progress from initial outreach to receipt of RFI/RFP
- Lead the team through the business development process
- Identify opportunities for account expansion and revenue growth
- Manage the end-to-end sales process
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication
- Monitor account performance and track key metrics
- Maintain the CRM system
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand client needs
