Description

In this role, you will manage and optimize the SaaS platform's infrastructure. Daily tasks will involve automating deployment processes, ensuring system reliability, and collaborating with teams to enhance workflows.

Requirements

• •Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related field
• •Strong expertise with AWS cloud services, Kubernetes orchestration, and GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• •Fluency in TypeScript for infrastructure development (Pulumi)
• •In-depth understanding of Linux server administration, system internals, and performance tuning
• •Solid experience with monitoring, observability, and incident management tools
• •Proven ability to troubleshoot critical production issues under pressure
• •Strong focus on security practices in infrastructure and operations
• •Excellent communication skills in English
• •Relevant technical education (HTL, FH, or University)
• •Hands-on experience in cloud-native environments managing production workloads
• •Previous experience in SaaS, large-scale web applications, or high-availability environments
• •Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• •German language skills recommended
• •Infrastructure & Cloud: AWS (EC2, ECS/EKS, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudWatch), Kubernetes, Pulumi
• •CI/CD & Automation: GitLab CI/CD, Docker, scripting with Bash or Python
• •Databases & Caching: MySQL, Redis, S3 data storage
• •Monitoring & Observability: AWS CloudWatch, Sentry.io, SIEM solutions
• •Security: Secret management (AWS Secrets Manager), IAM, encryption practices, vulnerability scanning tools
• •OS & Networking: Linux (administration, tuning, troubleshooting), networking fundamentals, load balancing
• •Languages: TypeScript (infrastructure as code), PHP (basic reading/debugging), Bash/Python (automation)

Tasks

• •Own and manage deployment and operations of the SaaS product
• •Design, implement, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines
• •Develop and manage scalable infrastructure as code using Pulumi with AWS and Kubernetes
• •Operate observability tools like AWS CloudWatch and Sentry.io
• •Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and reliability risks
• •Participate in on-call rotation and incident response
• •Manage and support critical data infrastructure, including MySQL, Redis, and S3
• •Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and data security
• •Implement security best practices for secrets and access management
• •Audit systems for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance
• •Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA teams
• •Contribute to disaster recovery planning and backups
• •Write clear documentation for infrastructure and deployment workflows
