Requirements

  • •Hands-on experience administrating Elasticsearch clusters
  • •Knowledge of data retention and life cycle management, Index and Datastream mappings, ML and transform jobs, Kibana alerts
  • •Hands-on experience in operations of sizing, monitoring, and management for Kafka, Logstash, Beats, Kibana, and Elastic Agent
  • •Experience with queuing systems and data streams in production (SQS, ActiveMQ, Kinesis, Kafka or similar)
  • •4+ years of experience in administering/developing/DevOps in a Linux/Unix environment
  • •AWS expertise and experience in creating CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and docker orchestration engines
  • •Significant experience with Docker, Terraform, or CloudFormation

  • •Maintain and support multiple Elastic instances
  • •Perform system upgrades and troubleshoot issues
  • •Resolve infrastructure and system problems
  • •Manage log ingestion and communication issues
  • •Design and develop scalable data pipelines
  • •Create high-performance data storage solutions
  • •Develop observability frameworks using Kibana or Grafana
  • •Collaborate with teams to define observability requirements
  • •Scale and maintain development and production platforms on AWS and GCP
  • •Stay updated on new tools and cloud services
  • •Perform database backups, migrations, and upgrades
  • •Advocate for new technologies and best practices
