Requirements

  • Experience in data solution or analytics engineering
  • Industry experience in finance or similar
  • Extensive experience with Snowflake and dbt
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience migrating on-prem systems to cloud
  • Experience in agile or scrum environments
  • Fluency in English and German skills

Tasks

  • Architect business data marts in Snowflake
  • Lead development of production-grade dbt models
  • Set standards for modeling, documentation, and testing
  • Develop and improve data vault 2.0 architecture
  • Design the semantic layer through Power BI
  • Implement and design Power BI reports
  • Optimize performance and cost across all tools
  • Collaborate with engineers and business stakeholders
  • Incorporate SLAs and processes into designs
  • Perform root-cause analysis and incident resolution
  • Maintain clear technical documentation
  • Coach and mentor team peers
  • Evolve CI/CD for dbt and BI
  • Implement end-to-end security and governance

Education

  • Bachelor's degreeOR
