Requirements

• •Years of experience as Data Scientist
• •Building and deploying production recommender systems
• •Understanding of modern machine learning methods
• •Overview of data science best practices
• •Strong Python coding skills
• •Experience with large datasets and Spark/SQL
• •Experience with Palantir Foundry as plus
• •End-to-end responsibility for AI projects
• •Experience with LLMs and AI systems
• •Background in A/B test design
• •Agile working and cross-functional collaboration
• •Excellent English and advantageous German skills
• •Solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset
• •Fast learning and adaptability

Tasks

• •Develop recommendation and personalization models using statistical and machine learning methodologies
• •Design and operate end-to-end AI services in an agile environment
• •Manage AI initiatives from initial problem framing to production deployment
• •Build scalable and resilient ML pipelines for production environments
• •Design and analyze A/B tests to measure reader impact
• •Collaborate with engineers and architects to integrate ML solutions
• •Improve organizational methodologies, tooling, and experimentation standards
• •Explore new AI-driven solutions to enhance digital journalism
