In this role, you will manage Moonfare's data infrastructure, develop robust pipelines, and ensure high-quality data availability. Collaborating with analysts and stakeholders will drive innovative solutions and uphold data governance standards.

Requirements

• •5+ years working experience as a Data Engineer
• •Expertise in designing and developing Data Pipelines
• •Strong background in cloud infrastructure, especially AWS
• •Proven programming experience with Python and Scala
• •Experience with relational databases and advanced SQL queries
• •Experience with CI/CD and bash scripting
• •Practical experience with Docker and working knowledge of Kubernetes
• •Working knowledge of DBT and understanding of Tableau
• •Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• •Solution-oriented with excellent attention to detail
• •Creative problem-solving abilities and passion for data

Tasks

• •Manage and scale Moonfare's BI data infrastructure
• •Develop and maintain data pipelines from ingestion to storage
• •Model data using data lake and warehouse concepts
• •Optimize performance through partitioning and file tuning
• •Champion standards, processes, and best practices
• •Implement least-privilege IAM and encryption
• •Handle data classification and PII management
• •Contribute to data governance policies
• •Conduct data analysis experiments for stakeholders
• •Translate requirements into robust data solutions
• •Review code and mentor peers
• •Ensure data cleansing and coding consistency
• •Promote data availability and quality
• •Share ideas and introduce new tools and methodologies
• •Collaborate with analysts to understand data requirements
• •Provide efficient data solutions
