Requirements

  • •Excellent knowledge of SQL
  • •Excellent knowledge of Python
  • •Experience with AWS data and analytics services
  • •Experience with Redshift, Athena, S3, Glue, DMS
  • •Hands-on experience with ELT/ETL flows using DBT
  • •Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow
  • •Experience with Kafka
  • •Solid understanding of classical data warehousing concepts
  • •Experience with AWS Redshift
  • •Hands-on expertise with Terraform
  • •Ability to architect, deploy, and optimize infrastructure as code
  • •Proven ability to own projects from requirements to performance monitoring
  • •Can-do mentality
  • •Eagerness to learn
  • •Drive to question and improve continuously

Work Experience

approx. 4 - 6 years

Tasks

  • •Operate and monitor the data platform infrastructure
  • •Design and extend data pipelines and services
  • •Implement and maintain Airflow workflows for data orchestration
  • •Use DBT to transform and aggregate data
  • •Create materialized views and manage data quality
  • •Design and implement data models in Redshift
  • •Manage data ingestion and processing in Redshift
  • •Ensure data integrity and consistency
  • •Identify performance bottlenecks and provide solutions
  • •Develop and maintain PostgreSQL and Redshift databases
  • •Focus on data modeling and schema design
  • •Optimize database performance
  • •Collaborate with the analytics team on the semantic layer
  • •Enhance modeling and performance from an engineering perspective
