Requirements

  • •Experience with data warehouse and lake architecture using Snowflake and Azure Data Lake Storage
  • •Strong command of data modeling techniques
  • •Deep expertise in dbt, SQL, and Snowflake or similar cloud data platforms
  • •Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT design, and data warehouse principles
  • •Ability to grasp complex business processes and translate them into clean, scalable data models
  • •Data ingestion and processing using Azure Data Factory, Functions, Batch Ingestion, Stream Analytics
  • •Experience with DevOps including CI/CD, version control, testing automation, workflow orchestration
  • •Proactive mindset, strong problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and lead technical initiatives

Tasks

  • •Design and implement optimized data pipelines
  • •Collaborate with stakeholders to gather functional requirements
  • •Develop data models and design proposals
  • •Build robust data pipelines from various source systems
  • •Translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • •Create transformation logic in dbt for analytics
  • •Model data using best practices for clarity and performance
  • •Work with BI analysts to ensure data models support decision-making
  • •Extend and optimize the data integration framework
  • •Debug and refactor existing data pipelines
  • •Implement automated testing and data quality checks
