Requirements
- Master's/PhD in Biochemistry, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology/Chemistry or allied fields
- Beneficial end-user experience with chemistry or scientific databases (e.g., Reaxys)
- Hands-on experience with databases (e.g., PostgreSQL or other relational/analytical database systems)
- Experience utilizing cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) for data processing, analytics workflows, and scalable data solutions
- Strong data analysis and scripting skills using Python and/or Java
- Demonstrated experience contributing to or validating AI/GenAI-based testing frameworks and analytical workflows
- Collaborative mindset with proactive knowledge sharing and cross-functional teamwork
Tasks
- Enhance chemistry intelligence through quality evaluation
- Improve data-driven customer impact
- Enrich chemical and regulatory datasets
- Improve search relevance, accuracy, and analytical capabilities
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Technology partners
- Deliver continuous improvements in an agile environment
- Generate data-driven customer impact insights
- Translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations
- Perform advanced analytical work using SQL and Python/Java
- Conduct trend analysis, anomaly detection, and segmentation
- Develop reusable analytics code with version control
- Maintain analytics modules, notebooks, and automation jobs
- Ensure scalability and repeatability of analytics code
- Contribute to improving data analysis frameworks
- Develop GenAI-driven evaluation approaches
- Mentor and review peer work on SQL logic
- Review peer analytical methodology
- Review peer validation approaches
