Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Over 5 years of post-qualification experience in a senior Controlling or FP&A role or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of cost allocation, contribution margin analysis, and cost control methods
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new cloud-based financial management software and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work with stakeholders across cultures and at all levels
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English and German
  • Familiarity with project management and system support ticketing systems

Tasks

  • Design and coordinate the implementation of a management accounting and controlling template for Workday Financial Management
  • Identify and suggest opportunities to enhance internal cost allocation and performance management processes
  • Define the data foundation for internal performance reports, including contribution margin analysis and operational transfer pricing
  • Drive variance analysis comparing actual performance against planned or standard metrics
  • Support user reporting needs by designing and testing custom reports
  • Create comprehensive documentation for system configurations, workflows, and standard operating procedures
  • Deliver training sessions and guidance to end users for effective system adoption
  • Liaise between finance functions, local finance, IT, and vendor teams to facilitate communication and align system updates with business needs
  • Ensure management accounting governance during regular operations and reporting deadlines
