Requirements
- Several years of Controlling or Finance experience, ideally retail
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, variance analysis
- High ownership, proactivity, structured working style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Proven business partner, working with non-finance stakeholders
- Solid understanding of retail KPIs, store performance
- Experience developing business cases, investment analyses
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- ERP systems experience (e.g. SAP) is an advantage
- Fluent German
- Good English communication skills
Tasks
- Act as a financial business partner to Retail management
- Ensure fact-based decision-making for Retail
- Report on Retail financial performance
- Analyze Retail financial performance for Actuals, Forecast, and Budget
- Develop store performance monitoring
- Define relevant KPIs for store performance
- Provide regular insights to stakeholders
- Prepare business cases for new store investments
- Conduct post-implementation evaluations for new stores
- Provide recommendations to management on new stores
- Lead regular planning cycles on store-level
- Prepare risk scenarios for planning cycles
- Take ownership of the month-end closing process
- Identify opportunities to improve month-end closing
- Partner with store managers to optimize performance
- Partner with operations teams to optimize performance
- Ensure alignment on financial goals with store teams
- Analyze sales trends
- Analyze product performance
- Support pricing decisions
- Support promotion decisions
- Support product placement decisions
- Ensure financial operations comply with company policies
- Ensure financial operations comply with internal controls
Work Experience

Education
- Bachelor's degreeOR
- Master's degree
Languages
