Senior Construction Project Manager(m/w/x)

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field
- Significant, hands-on construction project management experience
- Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architectural principles
- Consistent track record in budget, schedule, negotiation, and cost control
- High familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
- Experience reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation
- Solid experience with German building law and local authority approval processes
- In-depth knowledge of German regulations and standards (Bauordnungsrecht, HOAI, VOB, DIN, VDI)
- Crucial experience with permitting and approval authorities
- Experience with construction and planning software (AutoCAD, Revit, P6)
- Confident user of MS Office
- Strong advantage: Experience with tendering and cost planning tools / AVA software (e.g., RIB iTWO, ORCA AVA)
- Plus: Experience with Class 100 clean room construction
- Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent organizational skills, competence to run multiple projects in parallel
- Strong analytical mentality, ability to use data and financial analysis for decisions
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including senior leader interaction
- Proficient English and German (spoken and written)
Tasks
- Lead project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders
- Prepare, submit, and manage project budgets and resource forecasts
- Analyze and optimize operational and construction processes
- Obtain and manage permits and regulatory approvals
- Manage contracts and subcontracts, including general contractors and suppliers
- Coordinate with architects, designers, engineers, consultants, and contractors
- Ensure projects meet deadlines, budgets, and regulatory requirements
- Provide regular updates on project costs, timelines, risks, and milestones
- Lead and motivate multidisciplinary project teams and support staff
- Drive timely decision-making and stakeholder integration
- Develop space roadmaps for offices, laboratories, and clean rooms
- Create workspaces that foster collaboration, innovation, and productivity
- Build relationships with internal business groups
- Understand and align with internal business strategies and metrics
- Compile and analyze market data, forecasts, and budgets
- Create and optimize industrial project cost models
- Use data-driven insights for decision-making and stakeholder influence
- Balance client needs with company and partner interests
- Demonstrate knowledge of German health and safety construction legislation
