Description

In this role, you will manage the procurement of indirect materials, ensuring timely delivery and optimal inventory levels. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include supplier management, contract negotiations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance purchasing performance.

Requirements

• •BA degree in economics, Industrial Business Management Assistant or equivalent
• •5+ years of purchasing experience in a regulated industry manufacturing environment
• •Significant computer experience, including MS Office products and ERP systems
• •Strong Excel skills
• •Knowledge of kanban systems and lean principles
• •Working knowledge of buying, material planning, master scheduling, and forecasting
• •Concern for precision and thoroughness
• •Proven ability to achieve stretch goals and objectives
• •Ability to provide positive direction and commitment to quality
• •Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully
• •Good communication and collaboration skills
• •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in German and English
• •Strong negotiation skills and experience
• •Expected to travel to domestic and international suppliers
