Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
- 2–4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in direct materials within manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience with global supply chains and strategic sourcing
- Knowledge of procurement processes, negotiation, and supplier management
- Proficiency with ERP systems
- Understanding of logistics, inventory management, and production planning
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Tasks
- Source, negotiate, and manage direct material supply
- Ensure material availability, optimal cost, and quality
- Manage supplier performance
- Collaborate with Production, Planning, Quality, Engineering, and global procurement
- Secure a reliable supply chain
- Support operational efficiency
- Support factory performance with competitive costs, quality, and on-time deliveries
- Manage new projects (ETO) for target costing and execution
- Coordinate samples for validation, PPAP orders, and ramp-up
- Handover to Supply Chain in collaboration with Global Procurement
- Support cost reduction planning and execution with ICR teams
- Propose and drive 'make or buy' projects using Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)
- Handle delivery issues and escalations, including quality problems
- Act as the primary supplier contact in the region
- Propose and participate in strategic direct material sourcing projects
- Lead local supplier and contract negotiations
- Develop local supply base when no global alternatives exist
- Lead factory supplier performance reviews
- Participate in factory strategic plans, providing supplier insights
- Establish business plans, forecasts, and standard cost calculations
- Support internal and external audits
- Ensure price lists and contracts are updated and implemented
- Manage invoices and improve Purchase to Pay (P2P) processes
