Requirements

  • •7+ years of professional experience building high-performance Java applications
  • •Strong practical experience with Spring frameworks
  • •Expert-level familiarity with containerization (i.e., Docker) and proven experience deploying and managing applications on Kubernetes (K8s)
  • •Experience with REST APIs and/or distributed micro-service architecture
  • •Experience in writing and setting up comprehensive tests (unit and integration tests)
  • •Strong communication skills in English and a passion for clean and understandable code
  • •Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform
  • •Experience with languages like Go for building automation and tooling
  • •Prior experience with the architectural and operational challenges of On-Premise or Self-Managed enterprise solutions
  • •Experience with monitoring and log analysis capabilities (i.e., DataDog)

  • •Take ownership of the development process from architecture to delivery
  • •Contribute to the implementation of the Self-Managed Platform Solution
  • •Implement components, tooling, and integration patterns
  • •Leverage knowledge of Kubernetes, IaC, and on-premise environments
  • •Define the technical vision and strategy for the team
  • •Balance trade-off decisions between cloud and self-managed deployment models
  • •Focus on the scalability and reliability of services
  • •Uphold defined latency SLAs
  • •Collaborate with other engineering teams on broad-impact projects
  • •Ensure high software quality standards
  • •Document processes, concepts, and insights
