Senior Audio / Software Engineer(m/w/x)

Requirements

• Bachelor or master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications technology, computer science, or related field
• Minimum 2 years of work experience
• Academic background in digital signal processing, speech and audio processing, or similar
• Programming skills in MATLAB, Python, and C / C++
• Good communication skills
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently
• Excellent language skills in English and at least elementary German or willingness to learn German
• Positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a team
• Experience in software development for embedded systems in automotive, consumer electronics, or telecommunications
• Familiarity with embedded HW and operating systems (e.g. Android, embedded Linux) is a plus
• Experience with ITU-T qualification standards for hands-free communication in motor vehicles
• Knowledge of audio/speech enhancement processing components deployed in hands-free and ASR applications
• Good language skills in German
• Basic knowledge of information security and data privacy requirements
• Demonstrative knowledge of information security through internal training programs

Tasks

• Review audio architecture for Audio AI applications with customers
• Analyze customer and third-party requirements
• Provide integration support for speech enhancement solutions on embedded platforms
• Conduct audio path measurements and analyze test results
• Offer first-level customer support for audio-related issues
• Configure, tune, and qualify speech enhancement technology in vehicles
• Certify embedded and cloud-based ASR solutions and hands-free telephony applications
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and prepare documentation
• Develop and adapt test tools and existing test scripts
• Create customer demonstrations and support proof of concept development
• Assist in project acquisition
