Senior AQ Engineer - New Product Development (BCS)(m/w/x)
Driving NPI projects with APQP and LEANPD for connectivity and sensor solutions. Automotive Core Tools and IATF 16949 knowledge required. Performance bonus, health incentives, employee stock purchase program.
Requirements
- University degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Physics, or related technical field
- Experience in Quality/Manufacturing Operations (e.g. Quality Engineer or Quality Supervisor) is a strong advantage
- Profound knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (Six Sigma, Automotive Core Tools APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, PPAP, risk analysis)
- Strong technical understanding of electronics, physics, mechanics, metal and plastics manufacturing
- Solid understanding of quality management systems (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001)
- Demonstrated analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills, capable of handling multiple projects
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Tasks
- Drive NPI projects using APQP and LEANPD
- Act as quality interface in product development
- Ensure customer requirements are documented and understood
- Maintain completeness of product and quality documentation
- Participate in Design, Quality, and PAC/Gate Reviews
- Collaborate with Product Engineering on DFMEA and risk analyses
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Development on PFMEA and process risk assessments
- Develop and maintain Control Plans aligned with PFMEA and customer requirements
- Support product and process validation activities
- Ensure readiness of customer release documentation
- Support run@rate and Start of Production approvals
- Lead advanced problem-solving and quality improvement activities
