Requirements
- Master's Degree in Engineering or Technology
- Verbal and written English fluency
- 2–4 years full-time work experience in ML engineering or applied AI
- Experience in agile product or delivery teams post-Master's
- Strong hands-on experience with full ML lifecycle
- Practical experience building/deploying on major cloud platforms
- Hands-on experience with LLMs and generative AI
- Experience with MLOps practices and tools
- Proficiency in Python and ML/AI frameworks
- Ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders
- Experience designing agentic AI systems
- Depth in responsible AI and governance
- Experience fine-tuning foundation models
- Familiarity with vector databases and semantic search
- Background in NLP, computer vision, or time-series forecasting
- Experience with data and AI platform architecture
Tasks
- Design and build robust AI systems
- Develop machine learning pipelines
- Create generative AI solutions
- Establish technical foundations for AI value extraction
- Work as an ML engineer, AI architect, or strategic advisor
- Operationalise AI systems across the full stack
- Build data pipelines and perform feature engineering
- Develop LLM applications and RAG pipelines
- Implement agentic workflows
- Apply MLOps practices for reliable model deployment
- Guide clients on build versus buy decisions
- Select appropriate AI models
- Promote responsible AI practices
- Facilitate organisational change for AI adoption
- Mentor junior colleagues
- Contribute to engagement quality
- Build client trust and presence
- Participate in Netlight's thought leadership
- Share knowledge internally
- Publish external content
- Coach colleagues in their AI journey
