Senior AI Engineer - Human-Like Behaviour(m/w/x)
Applying reinforcement learning and hybrid models for ADAS functions in a global automotive group. Several years of real-world ML-based ADAS development and PyTorch/TensorFlow production experience required. Six weeks annual leave, overtime compensation, flexible working hours.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Physics, or comparable qualifications
- Several years of hands-on experience in real-world ML-based ADAS or autonomous driving development
- Strong understanding of perception, prediction, planning, and end-to-end driving systems
- Proven production experience with machine-learning frameworks (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Demonstrated ownership in AD/ADAS, robotics, or large-scale autonomy stack with clear delivery impact
- Deep expertise in large-scale model development (training, evaluation, error analysis, optimisation)
- Ability to systematically derive and implement complex function changes (production-ready)
- Experience in safety-critical or regulated environments (advantageous)
Tasks
- Develop and industrialise end-to-end ML functions for ADAS.
- Design and improve human-like driving behaviour.
- Apply behaviour models, reinforcement learning, and hybrid approaches.
- Execute full training and evaluation cycles.
- Manage data selection and scene analysis.
- Perform error diagnosis.
- Validate new function states and ODD extensions.
- Translate market needs, regulatory requirements, and user behaviour.
- Develop production-ready function increments.
- Prepare increments for international deployment.
- Advance explainability and context modelling for ADAS.
- Contribute to the full development lifecycle.
- Support prototyping through series release.
