In this role, you will develop and enhance AI features that transform legal workflows, collaborating with cross-functional teams to create secure and efficient solutions. Your work will directly impact how AI is integrated into daily tasks for lawyers across Europe.

Requirements

• •Deep experience building products integrating large language models via APIs
• •Proficiency with FastAPI, Python, and common data science packages
• •Strong understanding of software engineering and security best practices
• •Experience with modern AI developer tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, Copilot)
• •Experience with TypeScript and front-end development
• •Excellent communication skills in English; German fluency is a plus
• •Entrepreneurial mindset and deep sense of urgency in achieving goals
• •Self-starter who enjoys autonomy and thrives in a collaborative team
• •Pragmatic approach to problem-solving focused on impact

Tasks

• •Design and implement AI-driven product features using LLM APIs
• •Develop chat-based user experiences and AI integrations
• •Build and optimize RAG systems, including document parsing and retrieval pipelines
• •Create scalable backend systems with FastAPI and modern Python tools
• •Design agent orchestration systems for complex legal workflows
• •Establish infrastructure for evaluations and benchmarking with continuous monitoring
• •Ensure high security, reliability, and data privacy across all systems
• •Collaborate with Product and Legal Engineering to prototype and refine AI use cases
• •Explore new models, tools, and techniques in AI development
• •Contribute to a fast-paced, execution-focused engineering culture
