Requirements

  • Several years' international accounting experience
  • Good written and verbal English and German communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel experience
  • Attention to detail and project prioritization
  • Willingness to identify root causes and implement process improvements
  • Fostering collaborative team culture and open communication
  • Willingness to collaborate with virtual teams
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting or Accounting Education (eidg. Fachausweis)
  • Big 4 audit experience (plus)
  • Strong analytical thinking
  • Good communication skills

Tasks

  • Handle Group Reporting in OneStream
  • Manage VAT and general ledger journal entries
  • Oversee Fixed Assets and Bank Accounts
  • Conduct Project Controlling and SOX-controls
  • Manage financial master data with finance head
  • Coordinate and prepare internal and external audits
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly reporting
  • Prepare US GAAP and statutory reports for subsidiaries
  • File timely TAX declarations with external support
  • Support AR and AP specialists locally and at shared service center
  • Manage intercompany recharges, commissions, and IC-Matching
  • Handle Cash Collection and Accounts Receivables bad debt reserve
  • Process Accounts Payable payments and Cash Forecast
  • Reconcile Goods Received Not Invoiced
  • Maintain Project Accounting and support Project Controlling
  • Review material cost variances, inventory, and revenue cut-off
  • Update product cost calculations
  • Manage all accounting-related matters
  • Maintain chart of accounts, cost centers, and Business Units
  • Perform account reconciliations and supervise Shared Service Center
  • Provide quick support for ad-hoc requests
  • Act as Leasing tool super user
  • Reconcile payroll between HR and ERP-System
  • Handle other tasks and ad hoc projects

Work Experience

  • approx. 4 - 6 years

Education

  • Vocational certificationOR
  • Bachelor's degree

Languages

  • English – Business Fluent
  • German – Business Fluent
