Senior Accountant(m/w/x)
General ledger accounting at semiconductor automation provider, HGB and US GAAP compliance. 2+ years AP and GL experience, German and English communication skills required. 30 vacation days, Mental Health & Wellness program.
Requirements
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable and General Ledger experience
- Fundamental understanding of Accounts Payable and General Ledger
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Experience with Oracle an advantage
- Excellent organization and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member with excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment
Tasks
- Manage general ledger accounting according to HGB and US GAAP
- Post intercompany transactions and perform account reconciliations
- Coordinate the monthly closing process
- Oversee the entire cash area, including bank contacts and reconciliations
- Prepare cash reports and cash planning
- Assist in preparing annual corporate income tax and trade tax returns
- Supervise payroll accounting across multiple locations with an external provider
- Coordinate the preparation of annual financial statements under HGB
- Reconcile US GAAP to HGB for financial statements
- Support financial audits and serve as the auditor contact
- Promote collaboration with all departments on finance-related matters
- Act as the point of contact for inquiries from the parent company's accounting department
