Requirements

  • Master’s degree in business administration, economics, political science, engineering, or related field; equivalent professional experience welcome.
  • Proven experience in business development, account management, or sales; ideally in defense, aerospace, or technology sectors.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills in German and English (C1/C2), written and spoken.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain long-term stakeholder relationships.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities in dynamic environment.
  • Strong familiarity with German Navy structures, capability planning & procurement processes, and defense industry ecosystem.
  • Interest in technology, defense, and geopolitics.

Tasks

  • Develop and grow partnerships with Bundeswehr and NATO
  • Focus on the German Navy and maritime domain
  • Drive strategic opportunities and gather customer input
  • Support Quantum Systems' goals as an unmanned systems leader
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Create and execute campaigns and strategies
  • Act as the primary contact for Navy stakeholders
  • Coordinate internal resources to meet customer needs
  • Prepare and lead account reviews and presentations
  • Conduct strategic planning sessions
  • Monitor contract performance and customer satisfaction
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Product Management, Program, and Operations teams
  • Stay informed on procurement processes and defense market trends
