Scientist - GaN Components, Circuits & Modules(m/w/x)
Developing and characterizing high-frequency systems up to 10 GHz using GaN technology at applied research organization with 76 institutes. Confident use of circuit simulation programs and EM simulation tools (ADS, CST, HFSS) required. Access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure.
Requirements
- Completed degree in electrical, microsystems, or communications engineering, ideally with a PhD
- Comprehensive knowledge of system design for high-performance RF components
- Experience in the design of hybrid high-frequency modules up to 10 GHz
- Confident use of circuit simulation programs and EM simulation tools (ADS, CST, HFSS)
- Expertise in the metrological characterization of semiconductor components
- Experience in research and industrial projects, ideally in a leadership role
- Business fluent German and English skills
- Team spirit and strong communication skills
- Independent scientific approach to work
Tasks
- Develop high-performance GaN components for high-frequency applications up to 10 GHz
- Design and implement circuits and modules for high-frequency technology
- Contribute expertise to groundbreaking high-frequency systems and communication solutions
- Participate in the entire project lifecycle from concept to characterization
- Share innovative ideas for exciting projects
