Requirements

  • Master's/Diploma in physics, materials science, or microsystems engineering, or similar degree
  • Experience in metal-organic vapor-phase epitaxy (MOCVD), particularly in GaN electronics
  • Knowledge of materials science and semiconductor device functionality
  • Enthusiasm in translating research results into applications
  • Independent working style
  • Ability to quickly familiarize with new problems
  • Team spirit
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enjoyment of experimental work
  • Experience in an industrial environment (ideal)
  • Experience in project acquisition and management (ideal)
  • Scientific Master’s degree in Physics, Materials Science, Microsystems Engineering, or related field
  • Ph.D. advantageous but not required
  • Experience in metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD), particularly in GaN electronics
  • Knowledge of materials science and semiconductor device functioning
  • Experience in an industrial environment and/or in acquiring and managing projects are a plus
  • Team player
  • Strong communication skills
  • Enthusiasm for experimental work

Tasks

  • Develop MOCVD production processes for GaN components
  • Enhance quality, efficiency, yield, and reliability of GaN structures
  • Collaborate with the Power Electronics business unit
  • Acquire and manage national and international projects
  • Strengthen European semiconductor industry
  • Work with Epitaxy and Microelectronics departments
  • Contribute to groundbreaking research and development
  • Support European semiconductor manufacturing capacity
  • Manufacture epitaxial wafers for microelectronic components
  • Focus on applications in radio-frequency technology and power electronics
