Requirements

  • PhD in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or related field
  • MSc with relevant experience (exceptional candidates)
  • Strong theoretical foundations in electric motors/electromagnetic actuators
  • Proven research experience in electric motors/electromagnetic actuators
  • Solid foundational knowledge of power electronics
  • Solid foundational knowledge of motor/actuator control
  • Solid foundational knowledge of mechanical system dynamics
  • Deep analytical understanding of electromagnetic energy conversion
  • Advanced numerical modeling skills in FEM tools
  • Experience with multi-domain simulations (control, power electronics, mechanics) (strong plus)
  • Experienced in practical mechanical design of motors or actuators
  • Knowledgeable of modern manufacturing methods
  • Track record of scientific publications
  • Well acquainted with laboratory work
  • Skills in power electronics (strong plus)
  • Skills in data acquisition (strong plus)
