Scientific Project Manager(m/w/x)
Coordinating international research network for neurodegenerative disease prevention and treatment. Master's degree required, PhD preferred. Annual special payment, asset-building savings.
Requirements
- Master’s degree required; PhD preferred in neuroscience, biomedical sciences, or related field
- Scientific project management experience, preferably in collaborative or interdisciplinary research environments
- Strong understanding of biomedical research workflows
- Experience with large-scale, multi-partner projects is highly desirable
- Familiarity with open science practices and data management
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) required
- German language skills desirable and considered an advantage
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple workflows in dynamic research environment
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across disciplines and institutions
Tasks
- Act as liaison for research team, collaborators, and funding bodies
- Ensure effective internal and external communication
- Organize and coordinate meetings, workshops, and events
- Prepare meeting summaries and action points
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships within the network
- Track milestones, deliverables, and timelines
- Support onboarding and coordination of project personnel
- Prepare progress and financial reports
- Monitor budget allocation and resource use
- Maintain structured documentation of project activities
- Coordinate sharing of datasets, protocols, and outputs
- Support implementation of data sharing workflows
- Facilitate collaboration between research groups
- Align scientific objectives across partners
- Identify synergies and opportunities within the network
- Contribute to scientific reporting and dissemination
